Job Role: Service Manager

Location: Beverley

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00)

Are you currently working as a Service Manager within the materials handling industry and looking for a new working environment? Or are you a Senior Technician looking for the next step in your career? If so, then this role could be for you!

My client are a UK leader within the materials handling company and are searching for a Service Manager to join their fast growing team. Working and managing some of the largest and well-known brands in the industry. The right candidate needs to have a passion for achieving positive results, have the ability to positively motivate and inspire a team and keep both the customer and company at the forefront of everything they do.

In return the company offer an extremely attractive benefit package, with a salary circa of up to £40,000, company car with personal use allowed, quarterly bonus, company pension scheme and much more.

Job role:

This role will include managing a team of service engineers, managing their productivity, their schedules, processing and authorisation of parts and expenditure, delivering the best customer experiences both locally and nationally, amongst much more. You will be able to create a strong working environment that demonstrates effective leadership, development and growth within the team.

Responsibilities:

Maximising productivity of operations through a high level of motivation and development of the team through regular reviews and training
Ensuring that equipment is maintained for the duration of contracts and maximising value of the asset at the end of the term
Ensuring that monthly performance is closely monitored and that monthly targets are met with additional financial growth
Fleet spends and parts authorisation
Offering technical support to all of the team when needed
Supporting Coordinators - monitoring of diaries/workloads (ensuring these are planned out efficiently and workload is achievable)Ideal candidate must have the following:

NVQ Level 2/3 in relevant engineering
5 years or more working in the materials handling industry
Management experience is desirable, but not essential. Will consider a senior technician or team leader
Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge of equipment and the materials handling industry or similar
