Legal Services Manager

South East

£500 - 600 per day

Hybrid Working

My client is based in the SOuth East and is seeking an experienced legal professional to join their in-house legal services team for an initial 3-6 month locum position. This team supports a large in house legal services function and you will be managing external legal contracts between local authorities and third parties.

My client is looking to recruit a legal professional with significant managerial experience and senior experience at a local government level.

This role is full time and the client is happy to work on a hybrid working basis with attendance in the office 1-2 times every 2-3 weeks. There is an option to go into the office if you like to be office based.

Your job will incolve, but not limited to:
  • Client management
  • Managing a team of 3 direct reports but reporting to the head of legal and head of governance
  • Managing external legal contracts
  • Analysing performance and advising on cost effective client relationships

I do a lot of work with this client and candidate feedback is excellent on their structure, workloads and team support!
