A unique opportunity to work in a specialised advocacy team with a leading Criminal Barrister and Partner with Higher Rights of Audience focusing on insurance fraud, EL/PL and personal injury litigation for a leading Legal 500 ranked defendant insurance practice. You will undertake advocacy and provide advisory and drafting services to its wider team of lawyers, including in complex fraud matters and high value claims. The work will predominantly involve representing clients at interlocutory hearings, small claims trials, fast track trials, CCMCs, and applications, with the opportunity to progress to complex multi-track trials dependent on experience.
The role would suit a qualified Barrister or Solicitor of 3 years + PQE, looking to enhance their advocacy skills or to cross practice. You will have experience of handling insurance fraud, personal injury EL/PL claims, large loss, costs, or professional negligence claims on behalf of either claimants or defendants. Applicants with a background in criminal work and / or private prosecutions are also welcome.
The firm has an outstanding reputation and is renowned for its good quality work, friendly working environment and a supportive team structure. It offers flexible working, although candidates will be required to travel within the North West region to attend Court as required.
Competitive salary dependent on experience, as well as excellent benefits.
*Where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.
