We have an exciting opportunity available for a Finance Systems Administrator here at BGL Insurance.

The successful candidate in this role will supply first line support for BGLi's finance systems, providing user training and/or escalating to a combination of Internal and External support providers, to ensure resolution.

To support projects under supervision of line and senior management, update systems for approved change requests and to support regular user access audits and internal controls.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
  • Ensure that first line support for finance systems are handled in a timely manner
  • Adhere to defined procedures and standards to action change requests this may include occasional second line support
  • Develop strong relationships with Finance stakeholders to understand user requirements
  • Build close working relationship with the BGLi's BusTech systems support team
  • Ensure prioritisation of full initiative development and testing to deliver to project deadlines
  • Maintain user guides to accurately reflect and share best practice
  • Provide training for users with specific requests for finance system knowledge
  • Perform regular audit and integrity checks
  • Identify Risk & Opportunities, and look to improve established processes
  • Take ownership of your own development

What will it take to be successful?

Must haves
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Strong communication skills - Ability to present complex technical to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work as part of a team, dealing with all levels of the organisation
  • Great Plains Knowledge
  • SQL knowledge of database admin
  • Open to change

Preferred skills
  • Experience in first line support systems role
  • Knowledge/experience of using Proactis/Concur and Anaplan
  • Good knowledge and experience of using Visio
