Bid Manager - £35-40,000 Per annum - + Company Perks - Hybrid working available

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for creating compelling bid responses to clients across the public and private sectors whilst managing the end-to-end process from qualification to submission. Bid responses will involve selling hardware, software, cloud and managed services, working closely with the Sales and Technical Teams internally, as well as external vendor partners including Apple and Adobe.

The Bid Team is also responsible for managing national framework agreements increasing the possible revenue streams and exposure to new clients for the business. The role will be reporting into the Head of Bids and Contracts

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with bid writing and bid management in an IT environment, ideally at VAR level.

You will be responsible for:

• The creation and modification of written and graphical bid content for bids, tenders and frameworks

• Effective qualification of all opportunities

• Working with the Bids and Tenders Manager to create template content for use by the Sales and Technical teams

• The managing of a group of stakeholders to collate information and adjust according to the relevant client(s) during the bid process

• Providing diligent, compliant and comprehensive management of the bid process and managing customer deadlines

• Creating compelling win themes

• Developing multiple winning bids for customers, simultaneously

Key Skills:

• A keen eye for detail

• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal)

• Strong literacy skills with comprehensive grammar and extensive vocabulary

• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office (with particular focus on Microsoft Word)
