Are you an experienced automotive programme manager looking to lead a team on several different projects for some global automotive clients?

Working in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility you will be responsible for automotive programs involving automotive mechanism production, high-quality hinges and door checks.

What will I be doing as a Programme Manager?

Quoting process for prototype and production
Team Feasibility Commitment / Risk
Program budgets.
Program timelines
On-going design input for conducting manufacturing feasibility and Customer requirements.
New program testing, both internally & externally
Bill of materials
Oversee kick off and approval of new/modified tooling / gauges check fixtures.
Participate in the specification, sourcing and negotiations of assembly and tooling contracts
Coordinate the approval of tooling/line equipment for payment.
Arrange & authorize packaging development
Conduct program milestone reviews
Coordinate and review all Process sign-off.
Interface with Quality Department and oversee the preparation of PPAP
Initiate and coordinate all new program release and engineering changes
Containment of new processes and parts
Complete production Layer Process Audits
DFMEA, PMFEA, DVP&R, FEA, Product drawings, Identification of key characteristics, control plan and design review processes.
APQP
Customer interface for Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and Purchasing
Track and control development costs (FSS)
Track and control product tooling and capital costs.
Actively drive Value Added / Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities and savings.
Responsible for all deliverables.
What do I need to be considered?

Must have Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent experience / background.
Minimum 3 years' experience running automotive manufacturing programmes.
Must be able to read and fully interpret Engineering Drawings and Standards (Applicable GD&T knowledge preferred).
Understanding of IATF16949
