I am currently recruiting for a Finance and Payroll Administrator to join an impressive and growing business near Chester. You will be joining a friendly, supportive and highly experienced team with a broad remit across finance and payroll. Duties will include:* 3 days payroll / 2 days finance (subject to change during month end)* Will cover payroll when required e.g. holidays * Preparation for monthly payroll for 100 employees using Sage* Process starters, leavers and change data supplied by HR* Logging all payroll changes and completing monthly reconciliations with Sage output reports* Downloading monthly overtime and absence reports * Completion of monthly average earning checks for employees* Completion of pension assessment, including postponements and opt outs* Preparing the monthly salaries BACs file for finance to check and sendQualifications & Experience:* Sage payroll* Finance administration* Microsoft office including Excel, Word, Adobe and Outlook* Strong numerical skills* Good communicator* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Professional attitude* Experience with other payroll and finance systems* Knowledge of time and attendance systems* Awareness of HMRC legislation* Ability to streamline processes by calling on past experiences* Administering pension schemes* Processing taxable benefits and salary sacrifice schemesBenefits* 25 days' holiday plus statutory * Role qualifies for Hybrid working* Healthcare Cash Plan and comprehensive benefits package* Training/professional development supportDJ/0297Finance & Payroll AdministratorChester£24.5k
