Our partner school are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join their Teaching team!

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.

We are an independent specialist day school that provides full-time education for up to 65 pupils and post-16 students aged 8 to 19 years. All pupils have a diagnosis of autism and most have additional social, emotional or mental health needs. We are looking for Teachers who are keen to develop creative learning opportunities for learners who may have previously found it difficult engaging with school and/or their learning. Our School can be a challenging environment and therefore determination and resilience are key characteristics for the post. We are seeking a practitioner who has an understanding of APD, SEMH and ASD or who is willing to extend their knowledge in order to work with young people with these needs. Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and a high level of resilience are just as important.

You will be joining a supportive and caring team who put a relentless focus on positive outcomes for the children and young people in our care.

This is a full time opportunity starting in the new academic year, delivering across the curriculum to KS3 students, working at a KS2 Level following the primary model. This is an ongoing position, initially through Now Education for the academic year that can become a permanent position for the right teacher.
