Construction Teacher

Horsham, West Sussex

£100 - £189 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent teaching experience.

We are currently looking to recruit a qualified Construction Teacher on behalf of an alternative provision based in Horsham, starting in September 2022 full time.

The role:

The Construction Teacher will be willing to engage with young people in a wide range of activities and support them through their time in school guiding them towards independence and adulthood.

You will be responsible for delivering construction lesson to small classes of 6 of less including wood projects and other projects using resin and clocks. It is important that you are patient, committed and have good knowledge of woodwork.

About the school:

The alternative provision has 26 pupils on roll, they work with individuals who have complex needs associated with trauma, they may have suffered from abuse of neglect.

They are looking for a Construction Teacher who will fit well into their team and someone who can contribute to their curriculum.
