Anderselite is looking for an accounts assistant to start in Swadlincote.

Key Requirements:

-an all-rounder who has a variety of experience

- previously working in an SME environment

- Is IT literate and has some Excel skills

- demonstrating attention to detail, organisational skills, and perseverance

- taking full responsibility for the Sales Ledger

Key duties:

Sales Ledger

- Raising sales invoices on operational system (Job Logic) and posting to accounts system (Sage 200)

- Chasing for POs for completed work

- Resolving customer queries

- Importing sales transactions onto customer portals as required

- Chasing customer debt and providing back up information as required

- Supporting sales and operational staff with sales data

- Allocating cash receipts on sales ledger

- Sending out customer statements

- Opening new customer accounts


- Ad hoc reporting and analysis to assist Management Accountant and Finance Director

- Occasional assistance with Purchase Ledger and Cash Book transactions

- Filing accounts documents in a systematic and organised way

- Occasional customer card payment processing

Other details:

- This could be a part-time role if desired

- Role will be a mixture of home and office based

- Company currently based in Swadlincote, but planning to move to Castle Donington in September

- Occasional travel may be required to Birmingham

- Position may become permanent
