Engineering Planner / Maintenance Planner - Preston - 6 Month Contract - FMCG
We have an opportunity for an Engineering Maintenance Planner to work for a global brand in the FMCG industry, on an initial 6 month contract basis. You will join an on site planning team, based at the clients manufacturing facility in Lancashire. The site is experiencing significant investment and is currently undergoing extensive regeneration with a portfolio of small and large scale projects across the site.
This company offers a great working environment with potential flexibility. The role will support the Engineering and Operations Teams to improve productivity and quality by performing a variety of different maintenance planning, scheduling and coordination tasks within their departments.
We are looking for someone to start in the next few weeks.
Responsibilities:
Setting up equipment and adding spare parts
Creation of functional casings
Uploading manuals
Creating task lists
Participate in meetings with operations and maintenance teams to review daily/weekly work issues and backlogsThe successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with SAP
Confident with Excel and data analysis
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering backgroundDesirable Skills:
FMCG / Food Industry Experience
