About the School

The school in East Cardiff is looking for a Primary Supply Teacher to cover a range of classes. This position will be starting in September 2022 with the potential to trial before the start date.

The school is relatively large with over 200 pupils attending from a wide range of backgrounds.

Role Responsibilities

Covering classrooms from Foundation Phase to KS2
Managing the classroom with assistance from an LSA or Teaching Assistant
Promoting a strong classroom dynamic
Preparing lesson plans
Working with the SLT to promote a positive school culture
Providing social and emotional support where needed
You Will Need

Childworkforce Only Enhanced DBS (We can help you obtain this)
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (Likewise we can help with this)
UK Qualified Teaching Status or will have obtained by September 2022
Good understanding of the Primary curriculum within Wales
Flexible approach
Strong behaviour management skills
