Are you an experienced Hospital Director or Registered Manager from either the NHS or private sector with a history of success who can lead a small and established well-run service?

If you can successfully lead and develop a team and mental health service, then join Elysium at St Mary's Hospital in Warrington as a Deputy Hospital Director/Lead Nurse and experience what delivering great healthcare should feel like.

As a part of the SMT, you will be deputising in the event of the Hospital Director's absence. You will be working closer with the clinical staff and help ensure the hospital's compliance with all statutory regulations and legislations, safeguarding the quality standards and meeting all key performance indicators for the role.
You will use your clinical expertise and strong managerial skills to make a real difference to the lives of our service users.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead and manage a diverse workforce, ensuring excellent care is delivered and operational performance is maintained
Provide operational leadership in the delivery of highest quality Nursing Services.
To advise, support and educate senior nurses in their areas of service delivery.
To maintain high profile leadership in areas of clinical governance and corporate governance as they impact on the nursing department.
Continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers
Ensure quality and financial targets are met, and facilitate the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and service users, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
Contribute to the strategic development of the hospital, ensuring adherence to the hospital's objectives and business plan
Promote and enhance the hospital's reputation for care and service.
Provide strong and robust leadership in the hospital environment.
Responsibility for budgetary oversight of the hospital
Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
Ensuring site is compliant with all Regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.To be a successful in this role, you will need:

An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector (essential), together with an understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care.
Experience within male forensic secure or male acute mental health inpatient services.
Extensive understanding of the Care Quality Commission standards and transforming care
Clear DBS
Strong commercial acumen, in order to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation.
An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership, is a critical factor in the success of this role, in order to provide direction and implement change.
To be a proactive individual, with excellent administration and clinical skills, who will ensure the team delivers excellent person-centred care, helping each service users or patient enjoy the highest possible standards of life.What you will get:
