Estates Manager
40 hours per week, 5 days a week: 08:30 16:30
School & College dual site

Opportunity to join a well estabished provider, working with a wide range of indivduals, the majority of whom also have learning disabilities.Some of the learners have co-occurring conditions such as epilepsy, hearing or visual impairments, or mental health needs. Also support autistic learners who have an additional profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) syndrome.

Main role responsibilities:

-Proactively support managers and staff by providing technical advice on Estates and Health and Safety legislation and regulations and their application within the Organisation
-Lead, manage and monitor the staffing teams via the management structure ensuring that employees are recruited, inducted, trained, supervised and appraised in line with company policies and procedure
-Under direction from the Director of Operations manage, monitor and review relevant servicing contracts ensuring the quality of work is within required standards and budget(s) addressing any shortfalls and make recommendations on future practice.

Essential (E)/ Desirable (D) requirements
• Attained a suitable level of achievement within the British Institute of Facilities Management or is actively working to achieve this status (E)
• Holds or willing to work towards attaining NEBOSH, GRADIOSH or CMIOSH status (D)
• Holds a recognised H&S management qualification, (Such as the IOSH General Certificate or above) (D)
