A well know charity based in Leeds, Yorkshire are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator on a temporary basis for 3-6 months. The role will be predominately home based with occasional travel to the office in Leeds (once or twice a month). The role could go temp to perm although this isn't guaranteed

You will join the Payroll Manager in a team of 2 responsible for a monthly payroll of 1800 employees. The payroll is partially outsourced to ADP and you will be resposnible for coordinating the relationship the charity and ADP. Your role will involving entering changes into the systems, sending to information to ADP, checking the information returned from the provider and then managing any queries.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing high volume monthly payrolls. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
