An exciting opportunity for an experienced welfare benefits adviser to join the Central and East Northamptonshire Citizens Advice (CENCA) Macmillan cancer support team.
Location: Home-working and Northamptonshire-based clinical settings
Roles available: 1 full-time equivalent / with a further post likely from September 2022
About the role
As a Macmillan welfare rights adviser, you will deliver a specialist welfare rights service for people affected by cancer and their families and carers. You will provide high-quality face-to-face or telephone advice including comprehensive welfare benefit entitlement checks, assistance with making claims, and challenging decisions including tribunal representation.
We reserve the right to end the recruitment process early if suitably qualified candidates apply before the closing date.
We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority
Ethnic (BAME) candidates.
