This role is for a school located in Hemel Hempstead. The most fitting candidate would be finalised based on a trial and interview with the school.

The School:
The schools is a sponsor led, mixed-based, sixth form school located in Hemel Hempstead. They prioritise safeguarding and welfare of their learners. They have a diverse and rich curriculum with plenty of extra-curricular activities designed to further strengthen the practical knowledge of the students. They offer excellent Teacher training opportunities as well as apprenticeship & SCITT-PGCE facilities. Teachers get placement offers in reputed UK schools upon successful completion of their trainings.

The successful candidate must:

Be a qualified English Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B.Ed. Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
Demonstrate recent experience as a English Teacher or Trainee Teacher
Hold an honours degree or equivalent in B.Ed.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
You are required to have:

The Right to Work in the UK
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
Two professional child related references
