EMG are looking to appoint an English Teacher to join a large, mainstream secondary school based in Greenwich. This role is due to start in September 2022 on a long-term, full-time basis teaching KS3 and KS4.

About the role:

This role will include teaching KS3 and KS4 English, following the National Curriculum.

The aim for English is to promote high standards of language and literacy by equipping students with a strong command of the spoken and written word, and to develop their love of literature through widespread reading for enjoyment.

The recommended revision guides for students include, CGP Text Guides for the Literature texts, Oxford Literature Companions for the Literature Texts, Collins Snap Revision guides for AQA GCSE English Literature and CGP AQA English Language for Grade 9-1 Course.

Essential Requirement for this role:

· QTS is essential for this post as is a DBS and a CV with a full 10-year work history with a minimum of two references.

· Candidates must be able to provide legal right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
