About Ratio

Ratio is a data-driven agency that helps clients build digital experiences that deliver results.

We started with two people, and over the last few years, we've grown exponentially to over 20 people and delivered numerous exciting projects across financial and professional services, hospitality and construction, including global brands such as HSBC and Capco.

Our secret sauce? We don't just design and build websites. We build high-performing digital ecosystems that connect data and technology to drive attributable business value.

Whether that's helping one of our global banking clients to generate year-one ROI in the first month by creating ultra-personalised data-driven account application journeys, or helping one of our professional services clients integrate their website and CRM to create a lead scoring and content marketing program to net them a £4m client within a matter of weeks.

Over the next year, we're looking to double growth, fuelled by a strong sales pipeline, new wins, and an increase in client work.

Sounds good?

At the heart of that is our highly skilled, experienced and motivated team. We are constantly challenging our approach and striving to offer something different. One thing we all have in common is our desire for client success.

As one recent client put it: "I've never worked with an agency that has such an amazing culture".

The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to manage the relationships across our Tier One accounts, including HSBC. You should be someone who can see beyond the day-to-day, and work with our clients (and our team) to map out a strategic plan for how we're going to drive them to success over the coming year and keep us on track.

We've already started to put in place the building blocks for success, including quarterly strategy reviews and monthly progress checkpoints. We're unlocking new budgets across our clients by showing them what's possible and extending our relationships within their business, and you'll be key to continuing this success.

You'll have the opportunity to work across both design & build projects, as well as our data & experimentation programs, giving you exposure to a breadth of exciting work. Over the next year, we'll be looking to significantly expand everything we do with experimentation into both new and existing clients, which you'll be integral to spearheading.

As we grow, and with the support of the senior team, we anticipate you'll develop the skills to progress into an Account Director position and begin to build a team around you.

Our team is based in UK and Romania and currently works fully remotely, with an option for a desk in a serviced office for those days where you need to get away. We trust everyone to manage their own time, so you'll be able to work flexible hours around your other commitments. Ultimately you're responsible for your own results.

In the next few months, we'll also be introducing an employee share scheme, so for people we view as integral to the long-term success of the business there is an opportunity to be included in that.

About you

We're looking for someone who can take our clients to the next level. You'll be the sort of person who can dig out and understand a client's challenges and priorities, and bring together the Ratio team to help solve those.

We're not interested in order-taking. We want someone who can work as a partner with our clients to drive their strategy and generate returns.

You'll need commercial awareness, an understanding of client KPIs & metrics, and be able to work with them to provide solutions to help them achieve their strategic goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for revenue generation from a portfolio of existing accounts, seeking opportunities to sell from the full range of services provided by Ratio.
  • Manage and develop relationships with your clients, proactively adding value and ensuring your clients achieve their business aims and objectives.
  • Work closely with project managers, optimisation experts and technical teams ensuring milestones are achieved and design and build projects are completed as per your clients' aspirations.
  • The first port of call for client-related matters, you manage the relationship and bring in the necessary expertise at the right time to support your customer.
  • Being knowledgeable of the market and industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors, and identifying opportunities for client growth strategies.
  • Ability to travel, visiting our clients within the UK.

Skills/Experience

  • 4+ years digital agency experience.
  • A sound understanding of CMS (Sitecore or Adobe preferred), optimisation and analytics.
  • Experience of working with Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager or similar platforms would be advantageous.
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role (Customer Success, Business Development or Technical Sales) within a service environment.
  • A basic understanding of website optimisation strategies including testing, personalisation and analytics.
  • An understanding of large-scale website design and build projects.

Ratio offers competitive salaries, 25 days annual leave, pension contributions, a choice of Mac or PC laptop and opportunities to travel to Romania.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
