We are inviting applications for the position of a Bank MSK Physiotherapist. Reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate high clinical skills within the scope of Physiotherapy. They will be expected to work across Fulwood Hall and Euxton Hall Hospital working with the Inpatient clinical team at the weekend. The Physiotherapy Manager will promote a high standard of individualised patient care supporting junior and Physiotherapy Technicians within the clinical team to provide excellent customer experience, whilst facilitating the best possible clinical outcomes. *Your duties will include:*
To ensure that all documentation is of the highest standard as per CSP Quality Assurance Standards.* Represent physiotherapy service/patient at multidisciplinary team meetings, to ensure the delivery of a coordinated multidisciplinary service and integrate physiotherapy treatment into the patient management.
* Develop excellent working relationships with staff, Consultants, suppliers and key stakeholders
* To be responsible for the safe and competent use of physiotherapy equipment, patient appliances and aids by patients
* To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentation/multi pathologies
* To formulate accurate prognoses and recommend best course of intervention, developing comprehensive discharge plans

*The ideal candidate will have:*
* A clinical background in Physiotherapy preferably Orthopaedic and MSK background
* demonstrable ability to work both in a team and independently
* Good understanding of the CSP Quality Assurance standards and HCPC standards
* Strong IT/admin skills

Ramsay Health Care UK has opened a brand new state-of-the-art day surgery & diagnostic facility at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village in Chorley which will provide services for NHS, insured and self pay patients within the local community and further afield. The new facility will be an extension of services offered by Fulwood Hall Hospital and Euxton Hall Hospital, which are part of the Ramsay Health Care Group and are located close to the new hospital
The new day surgery hospital will provide care across a range of specialities including breast, gynaecology, general surgery, orthopaedic and urology. The new facility includes an outpatient department, a day case theatre and purpose built endoscopy and physiotherapy units. It will also provide multi-modality diagnostic services including a static MRI and CT scanner. In addition, the facility has eighty car parking spaces and eight electric car charging stations.
