The Role:

We're looking to recruit a bright, enthusiastic Account Executive to join an award winning, full service creative agency. This role reports to an Account Director, supporting on all aspects of a leading FMCG account, ensuring effective utilisation of budgets and the successful achievement of targets and objectives. The Agency:

The agency are specialists in content and brand activations, crafting highly engaging brand experiences that live anywhere from social media to OOH and in retail. They have an enviable portfolio of clients within the entertainment, FMCG and lifestyle sectors. The team are a fun and collaborative bunch, a vibrant mix of highly talented creatives, strategists, data scientists, broadcast production specialists and of course client services colleagues, keeping everything on track and ensuring that their clients are getting what they need.

Key responsibilities:

Your role will be to support with the on-going development and growth of the appointed account, P&L accountability, client relationship support as well as effective management of the internal agency resources. You will be required to gain an understanding of the client's industry, business and competitors, as well as understanding their internal issues, processes and policies. The ideal candidate will pro-actively contribute to the client's business both strategically and on an operational level. Ensuring that a consistently high level of service is provided by the account management team, including the creation of creative briefs, presentation of creative, and its rationale to the client at all levels.

You will ensure compliance within internal agency procedures, including invoicing, purchasing and job management. The production of accurate forecasts for your account, based on client budgets and planning processes. Also the on-going management of planning and forecasting process, including regular re-forecast, reporting actual vs planned performance, and identification of remedial actions. You will also ensure that all work is accurately estimated, within agreed contractual or standard terms, and that all invoices are efficiently produced.


Candidates should be educated to degree level, with ideally a minimum of 12 months industry experience working within an account executive role. You should have experience in the key areas of marketing communications, including advertising, direct marketing, online, promotion and literature. Excellent project management skills and the ability to multi-task. We're looking for an articulate and diplomatic communicator who is able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. This role will suit candidates with a mix of analytical and creative abilities. You'll enjoy keeping abreast of the latest industry issues, tactics and deliverables and relating those to the client.

Working model:

This agency believes that coming together to collaborate is key to their success and they work a hybrid model of 3 days in the studio and 2 remotely.

Salary/benefits and environment:

The salary banding for this role is c£20-£25K dependant on level of skills and experience. They also offer a fantastic range of benefits as well as hosting regular office parties, monthly free lunches, drinks on a Friday and early Friday finish in summer hours.
