IT / ICT Account Manager
Remote / Hybrid (ideally southern based)
£40,000 + car package + Double OTE
Here is an opportunity for an experienced IT / ICT Account Manager to join a leading managed services provider in the UK and a highly specialised business telecoms provider.
About the IT / ICT Account Manager role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ICT Account Manager to join the External Sales Team at one of the UK's leading Print Management companies.
This is a superb opportunity to cross sell into a large and existing account base.
Responsibilities of the IT / ICT Account Manager:
• Selling a range of products at highly competitive pricing
• Predominantly working as a new business role alongside with existing and lapsed accounts to maximise sales opportunities for all IT requirements
• Researching and gathering business intelligence across various markets
• Calling potential new business and developing relationships
• Sourcing and closing new sales business opportunities
• Continually managing and developing a portfolio of accounts
• Providing quotes for customers and closing orders
• Producing monthly sales figure reports
• Analysing customer spend
• Liaising with the specialist teams to drive lead generation
• Working to set KPI's and targets
Skills required of the IT / ICT Account Manager:
• Previous experience working in Sales within the IT sector for at least 2 years, especially at product Level
• Proven experience of target performance
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport over the phone
• Ability to work under pressure whilst building a pipeline of business, dealing with customer expectations to a high standard and meeting monthly targets
• Must be a proactive self-starter with ambition and drive to succeed
• Upselling and cross-selling
• Analytical skills to include data recording, analyse reporting and detailed gap analyses
What the IT/ ICT Account Manager will get in return:
* A competitive basic salary of circa £40,000
