Reed is delighted to be working on a retained basis with our returning client Vialex Limited. Vialex provide a various of services focussing on supporting their clients with day to day legal and transaction services.
Founded in 2010, Vialex's aim is to make their clients life easier by achieving a significant understanding of their clients business, resulting in a better and more pro-active management of their legal requirements and certainty of cost.
My client are looking to add to their finance team with the addition of a Finance Assistant.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in managing your own workload in a similar finance environment and have excellent written and verbal communication. This position brings the opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a forward thinking, positive and progressive organisation within Edinburgh's bustling legal scene.

Key Responsibilities
- Producing client invoices and managing the work in progress
- Reconciling company bank accounts and supplier statements
- Managing and resolving queries from staff and external sources
- Sense checking bank transactions daily
- Liaising with fee earner around invoicing and WIP
- Ensuring financial documents are filed in a timely manner
- Preparing third party payments
- Supporting the credit control function when required
Key Attributes
- Experience working within a finance team
- Strong work ethic
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Strong IT skills including excel and word
- Flexible and adaptable approach
