We are currently looking for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to join a public sector organisation in Berkshire.
3 month contract (poetential extension) paying £450.01 per day inside IR35.
You will manage a procurement team of professionals, making it your focus to see through the organisation's procurement strategical plans, and ensure best practice is always being implemented throughout.
You will put forth your knowledge to lead projects around largescale procurements within the organisation, as well as contribute to the development of corporate policy.
Operating within statutory and Government guidelines, you will be making sure full statutory compliance is adhered to throughout the delivery of service while providing specialist advice and input as a member of the corporate project teams.
Experience in undertaking commissioning activities from start-to-finish within political environments, local authorities and legislative frameworks is a must. You will also have experience of negotiation with external stakeholders and have the ability to influence in order to deliver on strategic outcomes.
CIPS or other relevant qualifications would be highly advantageous, as well as experience of working in a matrix management environment.
