Finance Transformation PMO Analyst

A multinational energy company based in the UK is seeking a Finance Transformation PMO Analyst to join their team on a contract basis for 12 months. The main purpose of the PMO Analyst role is to provide provide programme support to the programme leadership team around general project meeting facilitation and administrative support, assisting with and supporting project workshops, assist the Programme and Project managers in the maintenance of key project documentation and undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out day-to-day support activities to the programme leadership team primarily around assisting with scheduling of workshops with both internal and external stakeholders, providing administrative support at workshops and any other general meeting support
Support resource and capacity management processes
Assist the overall programme team where required with maintaining key project documentation ie project plans, RAID logs, action logs and overall governance
Undertaking quality management duties to make improvements to workflow within the programme
Support the Programme Office Team when required with wider programme activity such as onboarding new Finance transformation team members and internal communication and engagementSkills & Experience

Strong understanding of change / project management within a Corporate Function, e.g. process and IT led changes
Excellent planning and organisational skills
An understanding of a Finance Function and /or Energy industry would be desirable but is not essential
Experienced in using Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications to a good level - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
Experience in working within an Agile framework
Articulate with effective written and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise and plan workload
Strong attention to detail
Self starter who is able to work independently, but understands when to escalate matters and ask for help
Team player
