Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit 3 x Strategic Project Consultants for initial 4-5 month contracts on a rate of £450-£500/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances these roles will be remote based for the foreseeable future.

Responsibilities:

-Programme management. Support is required to build a programme based approach to project management across the organisation including taking stock of multiple ongoing projects and to develop an implementation plan for the organisation's strategy

-Organisational design. Support is required to evolve and develop the role of the organisation and its activities. Shaping the future of the organisation and operations to most effectively support the delivery of the plan, evolving the Office team to be capable and empowered to lead change.

-Governance, assurance and decision making. Support is required to review and map responsibilities and accountabilities of the organisation and in updating and streamlining governance, assurance and decision making with a view to ensuring the organisation operates a robust contemporary approach aligned to best practice, legal and policy and audit/ assurance frameworks.

-Data analysis. Support is required to undertake a project to identify and analyse available data related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across the organisation.

Essential Skills:

-Programme management experience,

-Governance and assurance

-Data analysis

Desirable Skills:

-Experience of managing projects and working effectively in a team is essential as is a contemporary understanding of the areas outlined below:

-Strategic support to large project initiatives

-Strategic support and guidance
