Due to continued growth is recruiting for an experienced Account Manager with a background in fashion or textiles.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator, able to build strong client relationships, and to ensure their accounts are profitably delivered throughout their lifetime, and any new sales opportunities are maximised and business successfully retained.

You will be analytically minded and from similar account / commercial management or from merchandising background with client facing accountability. Experience of reviewing stock position, with an understanding of factories and logistical issues, and are proactive in finding workable solutions for clients/and the business.

Potential hybrid working providing located within reasonable commute of the office.

Account Manager - The Job Outline

* Responsible for growth, retention, profitability, and customer management of contracts.

* Develop excellent relationships with all customer contacts and ensure that all necessary activities are undertaken to re-win and/or extend existing contracts, including driving internal meetings.

* Sharp focus to ensure that stock liability is minimised, and margin is maximised.

* Regular engagement with all internal stakeholders to ensure the business is aware of all the key challenges within the allocated contracts.

* Conduct and attend handover meetings on contract start-up and ensuring all relevant departmental representatives are invited.

* Act as liaison with other departments as necessary. Liaise with Directors and the management team where necessary on new and current business.

* Contribute to tender submissions where required.

* Attend regular customer meetings, presentations etc.

* Support the wider Contract Management Team in tasks as/when demand requires it (e.g. customer Implementation or rollout).

* Any other duties deemed necessary by the Head of Contracts or the Director responsible for Account Management.

Account Manager - The Candidate Requirements

* 12-18 month experience in a commercial, office based or client relationship role.

* Previous experience within textile, fashion or corporatewear/workwear related industry

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience

* Excellent interpersonal and confident presentation skills.

* Ability to persuade and influence

* Excellent planning/Organising skills. Familiar with KPI's, or SLA's would be beneficial.

* Proactive approach, can work on own initiative

* People orientated. A team player and team member.
