Here at Hobbycraft, we are looking for a Team Leader to join the team based in Oxford. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive rate of £10.66 - £12 per hour, depending on store location.

About the role:

As a Team Leader for Hobbycraft, you will be supporting the management team and helping to drive sales, alongside the development and delivery of excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities as our Team Leader will include:
  • Operating the till and accurately handling cash, credit/debit cards and gift cards transactions
  • Overseeing operation including merchandising, goods in, warehouse operations and duty management
  • Supporting and coaching our new colleagues
  • Co-ordinating the workload of Colleagues
  • Answering customer enquiries

What we're looking for in our Team Leader:
  • A minimum of 1 year's previous retail experience is essential (managerial or supervisory roles will be advantageous)
  • A passion for all things craft and a desire to inspire others
  • The ability to learn and share expertise of products to fit customer's needs
  • High levels of enthusiasm, drive and motivation
  • Confident and clear communication skills
  • Flexibility in order to accommodate the business trading needs
