What does a Finance Systems Manager do at NHS Supply Chain?
NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for an experience Finance Systems Manager, to maintain our current systems, help role out a new system one which we will further develop our data and reporting capabilities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of savings reporting systems, taking control of interpreting system issues and working closely with IT to develop fixes to resolve issues for the wider team.
You will own the resolutions of data and system issues relating to category tower / customer information with the aim of clarifying reporting questions and bringing reporting to a satisfactory conclusion.
Leading the SCART (Savings Capture and Reporting Tool) analyst, in this role you will be the point of contact, and escalation point, for data or system issues affecting the Savings team for IT and all internal and external stakeholders.
An analytics SME, bringing the latest industry approaches and tools into the design and delivery of the new savings system.
A key responsibility of the role is to manage and develop the new savings management system
Take the lead of Savings Project activities, where required, on behalf of the Senior Benefits Realisation Manager
Proactively support the Savings team, and wider SCCL business by providing accurate, timely information and insights to ensure they are able to support NHS Trusts.
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
Experience in a management role in a complex organisation
Experience of leading a team providing system performance solutions to a complex organisation
Demonstrable experience of data and system development in a contractual/regulated environment
Demonstrable experience of management strategies, techniques, processes and tools with experience in a relevant management role
Demonstrable experience of cost benefit decision making
Managing the production of system KPI management information and reporting across an organisation.
Involvement in large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects impacting an organisation and wider sector.
Qualification or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency with IT Issue Resolution/Project Management
Experience of MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
Willingness to undertake professional development opportunities
