A secondary school in East London are recruiting for a PA to Head Teacher & HR Officer to start in the coming months.

This interesting position will be a fixed term contract. Maternity Cover £28 £29,917 - £31,569 (term time plus 2 weeks)

Located very close to bus and train transport connections as well as a variety of shops and eateries to chose from, you won't be disappointed.Some of the required duties:
  • Provide Personal Assistant duties to the Headteacher including diary management
  • Oversee all HR functions including, but not limited to, managing informal and formal HR processes, disciplinaries, absence procedures and capability
  • To ensure the arrangements for the weekly leadership group meeting are carried out
  • To be responsible for the management of sickness records for staff on SIMS and tracking systems and monitor staff attendance and punctuality, logging and reporting of figures when requested
  • To process Teaching/Support payrolls monthly, including updating payroll regardingnew appointments and leavers
  • To lead on and manage the school's recruitment and induction processes and proceduresEnsure personnel files are kept accurate and up to date including archived files
  • To communicate with and advise the Headteacher regarding HR policies and procedures.These responsibilities and duties may be subject to variation as the school's needs change at the reasonable discretion of the Headteacher.
