Communications and Engagment Officer (Media)

Our local authority client based in West London are urgently seeking an experienced Communications and Engagment Officer (Media).

Job Role

We are looking for an exceptional communications and engagement officer with a passion for creating compelling content for diverse audiences. You'll need strong experience of media relations and digital communications. An excellent writer with a strong news sense and keen eye for detail, you'll be a creative, independent thinker who's confident in presenting new ideas and pitching to journalists.

You'll work with a team that prides itself on delivering high quality, well planned and innovative work in a fast paced environment. We work across the full range of communications disciplines: media relations, social media and digital, campaign design, community engagement, staff communications and engagement, research, consultation techniques and behaviour change methodology. We are agile and responsive, committed to excellence and working collectively in the best interests of our colleagues, residents, partners and businesses.
