Great opportunity for a Pre-Commissioning Lead Engineer

Prestigious Chemical plant new build in Cheshire.

Contract position - circa 6 months on-going

70% Electrical 30 % Mechanical

Looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join an integrated project management team (IPMT) to fulfil the role of Pre-Commissioning Lead Engineer within the Construction and HSE Teams, working on a major chemical plant capital investment project being undertaken.

You will be responsible for Pre-Commissioning. You will have previous experience as a Pre-commissioning Lead Engineer and be capable of managing your time and workload efficiently. Good communication skills are essential as the role requires interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.

Previous experience of managing pre-commissioning systems
Previous experience of project delivery on a Tier 1 COMAH site
Previous experience of working in a project delivery environment (desirable)
Liaison with Commissioning Manager, Completions and Construction Management to establish and document detail pre-commissioning scope with appropriate reference to the prime contract
Develop Pre-commissioning procedures for the works including safety protocols for introduction of stored energy and pre-commissioning record documents
Liaison with the project to establish and resource a pre-commissioning team
Execution of the Pre-commissioning work scope, in adherence with Project HSEQ safety targets, procedures and practices
Demonstrate high profile and visible safety leadership by example and communication with teams
