A highly regarded name in the market is seeking an experienced Cyber professional to join their specialist team as Underwriting Manager where you will be responsible for the development and underwriting of their Cyber piece working across all sectors and channels for the UK business.

You will lead on developing new and amended underwriting strategies. You will be reviewing our risk selection, underwriting questions, product breadth and pricing in order to deliver a proposition set up for profitable growth. You will be measured by creating a successful plan to address these opportunities and threats, as well as working with the other members of the Commercial Underwriting Management team to embed these changes into our day to day underwriting. You will be measured by the growth and profitability of the Cyber portfolio, the effectiveness of the underwriting strategy and feedback from underwriters.

Requirements:

• Substantial Cyber underwriting experience is essential
• Strong track record of setting and delivering strategy
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of cyber risk management or cyber qualifications would be beneficial
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
