A 6 months+ opportunity for an Finance Business Partner has arisen with the local authorities in St Albans.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent technical, analytical and communication skills to join the West of England Combined Authority as our new Finance Business Partner - Infrastructure.
Working as part of our Finance and Procurement team, you will help them deliver effective and efficient finance support by undertaking a range of activities, within the following specialist work areas:
Supporting the provision of effective and efficient financial information through proactive business partnering and providing financial modelling assistance when required.
Playing an active role in the preparation of the monthly management accounts including variance analysis, capital reporting, key performance indicators, investment trackers and supporting commentaries.
A flexible, innovative approach is an essential requirement together with the willingness to respond constructively to challenge and opportunity and to be able to work alone or as part of a team.We are looking for candidates who are qualified (CCAB/CIMA) with previous experience of business partnering, preparing budgets, budget monitoring, capital accounting and modelling.
Candidates must be available to work on site 50% of the time
Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
