Greenacre Recruitment are working with a social housing provider in East London to source a Compliance Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Working as part of the Compliance Team to assist in the management, monitoring and reporting of a cyclical programme of servicing and auditing, to achieve and maintain statutory compliance in accordance with all associated legislation and best practice across a range of disciplines, administration process of includes, but are not limited to: Commercial and Domestic Gas Safety and Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Asbestos Management, Legionella Water Risk Management, lifts etc. and providing admin support.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience

1. Experience of using systems and processes to complete administrative tasks and a good working knowledge in using a range of IT applications including Microsoft Office packages (In particular Word and Excel).

2. Experience of providing excellent customer service and dealing with customer queries effectivity face to face, over the telephone and in writing. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

3. Ability to manage a busy workload, effectively prioritise a number of competing tasks and be assertive with customers where required in order to ensure you can complete required tasks.

4. Knowledge of Property Compliance areas such as Fire Safety, Asbestos Management, Legionella Water Risk Management, Commercial and Domestic Gas Safety and Electrical Safety.

5. Knowledge and understanding of property maintenance, fault diagnosis, analysis, surveying, specification, quotations, Project Management and reporting. 6. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to deal appropriately with sensitive or difficult situations.

7. A positive 'can do' attitude and flexibility in taking on a variety of tasks.

8. Ability to establish constructive and professional relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organisation and external partners.

9. Good written communication skills and the ability to understand and summarise key information
