We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Finance Business Partner- Energy Futures & Innovation. The job is based in Edinburgh-Scotland, the role will require travelling between depots. You will provide finance support to Southern and Scotland Operations.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with senior managers, participating in meetings and providing regular guidance on their operational plans;
  • Take full responsibility of all month end processes & outputs ensuring a high degree of accuracy is maintained;
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring that all areas are supported by robust assumptions, and providing challenge where required;
  • Lead on all aspects of the flagship H100 project, and emerging LTS Futures project
  • Ensure clear line of sight between operational activities and financial performance, reporting on key cost areas on a monthly basis and highlighting associated threats & opportunities;
  • Directly supporting the Finance Manager and wider team in any other ad hoc requirements as appropriate.
  • Provide and prepare any inputs required for the regulatory team, including various re-opener opportunities throughout the GD2 price control

  • ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified (or qualified by experience)
