Lead Solution Architect/ Lead Solutions Architect - Banking
£660 per day (PAYE) + holiday + pension
My client are a well-respected consultancy working online with this global banking group on a programme to implement enhanced and consistent global Customer Due Diligence standards, to enable the bank to prevent individuals, entities and affiliates from using its facilities for the purposes of financial crime.
The CDD Programme is an enterprise-wide initiative to implement the Global Anti-Money Laundering Policy and is an integral pillar of the Anti-Money Laundering Program ("Program" or "AML Program"). The purpose of the CDD Programme is to outline the internal risk-based CDD procedures to be implemented by the bank and its financial institution affiliates and to establish governing principles to protect them from being used to launder money, finance terrorism or to evade sanctions requirements.
A solid background in data and integration
Working with a Data Architect (or potentially being a Data Architect until they get one) to create a common data model across the various Regulatory Compliance-owned and other data sources
How to get that data into and out of a set of data capabilities, getting the rules for mapping and transformations implemented in a sensible way
Being able to influence the roadmaps of the systems providing the data
Working out to façade legacy systems so they look "modern"
Implementing an event-based, workflow and microservices modern backbone to hang things onto
unlikely to be "building apps", so mostly back-end engineering stuff
to look for commonalities to create a more Compliance-Wide mindset and capabilities. Ideally the candidate should be able to challenge and call out opportunities to consolidate
FinCrime experience an advantage.
