We are working with an NHS Trust who are seeking to appoint an Interim Business Manager to work within the Covid Response Service division. This role will be for 2 months and is fully remote working.
Candidates must have previous NHS experience and be experienced in creating strategic / operational reports at a very high level. The role will start ASAP and as such, the client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at a c£260 day rate.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead project management and Governance for the overall workstream;
Engage and liaise with key stakeholders;
Oversee team members to deliver requirements;
Oversee the administrative functions within the workstream;
Responsible for the budget and financial management of the workstream;
Responsible for the ensuring procurement activity is undertaken;
Work closely with colleagues across the wider health sector, on a range of business sensitive issues;
Co-ordinate the workstreams business planning functions;
Engage and work effectively with key policy leads across all key working relationships, to address inter-dependencies and ensure alignment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous NHS experience;
Experience creating strategic/operational reports at a very high level;
Educated to master's level or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar management level;
Experience of working with senior managers in a similar role in the public sector;
Knowledge of a full range of administrative and organisational policies and procedures acquired through training or relevant previous experience.
