This is a Purchase Ledger Assistant role which will initially be a full-time position for 1-2 weeks carrying out a backlog clearing project - specifically historic errors. It will then transform into a part-time position, as a Junior Transaction Accountant (3 days per week in the office) until September. This role requires a candidate who is immediately available.

Client Details

My client is a luxury fashion retail company based in East London.


Purchase Ledger Assistant key responsibilities:
  • Reconcile the ledger accounts
  • Contact supplier as required
  • Clear backlog of historical errors on system

Junior Transaction Accountant key responsibilities:
  • Correctly format invoices
  • Cash allocations
  • Input emails on system
  • Other ad hoc Finance duties as requested by the Financial Controller


The successful Purchase Ledger Assistant candidate will ideally have:
  • Experience as a Purchase Ledger Assistant
  • Experience clearing Purchase Ledger backlogs
  • Sage/SAP systems experience
  • Immediately available

Job Offer
