We are working with a global organisation that have a bespoke broadcasting suite / in-house production department and they require a Technical Assistant to support the function. The team produces in-house videos as well as live broadcasts at C Suite level.
This is a new contract position, initially for six months and but for the right person could be extended a further six months and potentially beyond. On a day to day basis you'd be involved with:
* Testing new software, network systems and hardware
* Installing equipment
* Ensuring video conferencing platforms are running effectively (Zoom, Teams Live, Skype etc.) as well as cameras and audio equipment for live broadcasting
* Maintaining kit and manging the Kit Room
* Working closely within the business to ensure all planned productions and broadcasts run smoothly including the management of a shoot and content requirements.
This will be a varied and interesting role for someone who is technically savvy and has an interest in media but please note this is not a film / media creative style position. It would suit someone who has a background in providing IT support, is a skilled Mac and PC operator and capable of testing an implementing new software.
The position is based in Central London and offers hybrid working where you will be required in the office at least three days per week, possibly more dependent on the studio's schedule. It offers a day rate of up to £174.00 (including holiday pay) if working via PAYE or £214.00 if working via an Umbrella Company. Please note this position is within IR35.
