Exciting opportunity for dynamic Primary Tutors to support fantastic Primary Schools across Newcastle and Gateshead from September 2022. Due to an increased demand for intervention across Key Stages 1/2, there is an opportunity for skilled practitioners to join multidisciplinary teams of outstanding educators, on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Role Highlights:

Primary teacher required to provide targeted intervention across KS1/2 from September 2022
Earn up to £30 - £35+ per hour!
Tutoring groups of up to 6 pupils, as part of the National Tutoring Programme
Gateshead/ Newcastle, North East
Roles and responsibilities:

Deliver targeted intervention for pupils across KS1/2
Leading a timetable developed by the school: creating resources and sessions to accommodate a range of learning abilities, with full support provided
Monitor and review pupil progress in line with learning outcomes
Essential Requirements:

PGCE, QTS, or at least 6+ months experience working within a similar capacity is highly essential
Level 2 safeguarding trained within the last 12 months, or complete the training with us, free of charge
Able to plan and deliver targeted sessions with enthusiasm and creativity
Child workforce only DBS on the update service desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
