We are working with an NHS organisation based in Central London who are looking to appoint an experienced Governance & Compliance Lead.

This role will be working on an interim basis for 3 in the first instance with an hourly rate between £35.80 - £39.99 per hour (working inside IR35, through an umbrella solution company).

The post holder will be responsible for delivery on Governance & Compliance through the organisation, ensuring standards are set inline with CQC regulations.

Key responsibilities will include:

Lead on all aspects Governance Compliance for the organisation, including gathering data;
Robustly monitor Service Improvement Plans around CQC compliance and oversee the collation of evidence;
Coordinate, report on and monitor outcomes;
Develop and deliver internal quality assurance and an infrastructure for coordinating action in relation to NICE guidance and compliance of relevant guidelines is routinely monitored and audited;
Support in reviewing and preparing for CQC inspections, assisting with mock inspections;
Ensure that all services are of a high quality, working effectively and safely with high levels of patient satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have:

Must have experience working within the NHS/a healthcare setting;
Experienced within Compliance and CQC related activity;
Clear and concise understanding of core Clinical Governance, relating to Risk, Patient Safety and Clinical Quality;
Able to support in implementing changes;
Excellent attention to detail, able to collate evidence and provide senior management with relevant documentation;
Outstanding communication skills and data analysis.
