Connex Education Partnership are proudly working with a school in Stockton-on-Tees, providing qualified and exceptional teachers who make a difference.

We are seeking tutors, with strengths in literacy and numeracy to provide intervention sessions for a school within Stockton-on-Tees as part of the National Tutoring Programme, supporting students after the recent closures of schools. This role is to start September 2022.

You can work either on a full time or part time basis, delivering tutoring 1:1 and in small groups. This is the ideal opportunity for any qualified teachers and ECT's who have experience and hold a QTS wanting to make a difference to a child's life and see the impact tutoring can have.

As a successful teacher you will possess:

QTS or equivalent, and have recent experience in teaching and/or tutoring
Good knowledge of the KS1 or KS2 curriculum
Be able to explain key concepts fluently and accurately
Be prepared to tutor face to face and/or on-line depending on local lockdowns/closures
The ability to work to the school's scheme of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
Good time management to fully utilise the sessions.
