This is a permanent role working on a 4 week rota - store is open Monday to Sunday 7am - 8pm so you need to be flexible to work 5 days out of 7 including weekends.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will have overall management and operational responsibility for the everyday running of the store, ensuring sales growth and customer satisfaction. You will take ownership for recruiting, training, stock management, auditing and achieving sales targets. You will lead, mentor and nurture your team of 7-10 staff to be the best they can be whilst ensuring your store is successful.
We are keen to hear from applicants with Retail Management experience, with a hands-on and collaborative approach. Your emphasis will be on developing and mentoring your team into future leaders and you will have proven experience of driving footfall within a retail environment. You must be a confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a real "can do" attitude. A background of hardware or building supplies is advantageous, but not essential for this role.
