As a Senior Communications Manager supporting the Global Private Banking & Wealth businesses, you'll deliver a proactive programme of media relations engagements, campaigns, colleague communications and social media activations that are aligned to GPB&W's commercial strategy. You'll help attract existing and new clients in core target segments, and differentiate our wealth propositions in the external market as well as protecting reputation, anticipating, mitigating and managing issues. This role will also work with the wider global WPB Communications and Group Communications teams to tell a holistic story to shape our overall reputation as a leading international wealth manager with borderless banking.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Communications Manager.

In this role, you will:

• Regularly attend management committee meetings of key business stakeholders.
• Plan and execute a proactive communications strategy including drumbeat PR, executive communications, news and content in owned and earned channels, and integrated campaigns to generate coverage across a wide range of global tier 1 and wealth trade media and social media.
• Drive the external profile of Global Private Banking & Wealth CEO in earned and owned channels.
• Drive news generation of Global Private Banking & Wealth's Chief Investment Officer and roster of product/investment experts.
• Handle reputational media issues for Global Private Banking & Wealth and manage impact on overall reputation.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience in leading integrated communications projects to deliver commercial outcomes, including the development of narratives, key messages, collateral, planning, delivery and measurement.
• Significant and demonstrable external and internal Communications and proactive Media management experience.
• Experience working directly with Senior Leadership teams and the ability to influence decisions at all levels.
• Evidence of incoming/internal issues management is important.
• Any exposure or an understanding of agency engagement would be desirable.

The base location for this role is flexible: London/Hybrid with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week or as and when required.
