The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields. This role will be Hybrid with some days in the office based in Winchester. This is a 6 month contract paying up to £350 per day.

  • Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
  • Manage the daily functions of the business
  • Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
  • Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
  • Manage budget to align with goals of business
  • Accountable for supervising and directing all members of staff within service area to ensure service delivery to high quality, efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Onboard, train and develop staff to ensure they have the appropriate skills, knowledge and resilience to perform their role and they understand and adhere to up-to-date policies, procedures and processes
  • To provide operational management support to the Principal Transport Officers where required
  • Accountable for ensuring individual and all team members understand and comply with statutory and HCC Data Protection and security requirements
  • Ensure that data sharing between third parties is in line with policies and procedures and any incidents/ breaches are reported according to HCC processes

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Comfort working with multiple groups within business
