The Account Manager will be the key owner of the day-to-day relationship with our affinity partners. Your focus is to develop exceptional client relationships, drive customer profitability and to co-ordinate delivery across internal business teams, external suppliers and partners. You will be responsible for revenue growth, business retention, identification of growth opportunities and delivering on joint strategies for the partner and for Taurus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships as the lead point of contact for your accounts
  • Work with the management team to secure and deliver new business opportunities
  • Communicate partner requirements and demands internally within the business, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Create and track progress against budget and forecast
  • Identify new industry trends
  • Recognise account opportunities for business development and drive account growth, using commercial awareness to understand the needs, requirements, and goals of the partners' business
  • Arrange partner review meetings, drive agenda, co-ordinate attendees, build and deliver presentations and clearly capture, share and manage the actions / minutes
  • Communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep accurate records and account notes
  • Coordinate with internal teams as required to service and develop the partners

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate for the Account Manager role will be experienced in building relationships, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Minimum 3+ years previous Account Management experience in the Insurance sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - able to make clear and concise presentations to management and external partner organisations
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, both personally and in delivering partner projects
  • Ability to work on own initiative maintaining drive and motivation to work towards effective delivery of objectives
  • Proactive and professional attitude with a willingness to get stuck in where necessary to achieve a successful outcome
