Finance Officer job for a Multi Academy Trust in South Manchester paying up to £14 per hour Your new companyYour new company is a multi-academy trust based in South Manchester who are looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a temporary basis with the view for this to change to permanent for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to further your career within finance and develop your knowledge of finance processes. Your new roleIn your new role, you will be part of the central finance team and will work closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Officer, carrying out transactional processing in line with regulations and procedures. You will be assisting with duties including, processing purchase orders, raising sales invoices, bank reconciliations, investigating any discrepancies, taking follow up action where necessary and assisting with additional ad-hoc tasks that will include some month-end processes.What you'll need to succeedThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has high standards, excellent organisational skills and demonstrates attention to detail with commitment to carrying out activities with diligence and accuracy. Previous experience of core finance activities within both purchase and sales ledger as well as proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel is essential for this role.
