A rapidly expanding funds/FinTech organisation in London are looking to bring in a QA Engineer to join their exceptional team. Their platform connects global financial organisations and automates the digital marketplace, processing over $3 Trillion of investment value each year.
The QA Engineer, based in London will be reporting to the QA Director, and will be contributing to automation test solutions on agile projects. The business currently operates on a hybrid-remote model (1-2 days a week in the office) but will consider fully remote options for UK-based candidates that could visit the office irregularly. The successful QA Engineer will be joining an exceptional team, assisting the QA Test Lead in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks. Tests are built on .Net Core using the C# Language, using a Behaviour Driven Development approach. The role will be working closely with development engineers - identifying, logging and eradicating any unexpected behaviour/bugs.

The successful QA Engineer will have the following attributes:
- Commercial experience working within a software testing/QA position
- Use of BDD techniques and tools (Specflow, Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Object-oriented programming experience using C# (preferred) or Java
- Experience contributing to automation test solutions
- Experience with cloud based technologies, preferably Azure
- Confident and articulate communicator at both business and technical levels
- Experience automating the testing of REST API and/or UI-Based Applications
- Experienced in writing SQL relational database enquiries
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry (Asset Management, Payments, Mutual Funds, Trading, etc.).
- Non-functional testing experience, such as load, stress or performance testing
- Ability to describe testing techniques, Equivalence Partitioning and Boundary Value Analysis
- ISTQB Software Testing Certifications
