Learning Support Assistant Needed ASAP

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Multi Academy Trust in TIVERTON. The school helps supports students who are on the Autism spectrum and offers a mainstream atmosphere and learning whilst also offering a blended curriculum. The school have created a stimulating learning environment built upon high-quality, respectful relationships amongst students and staff. They deliver excellent teaching and learning within a relevant and challenging curriculum, and we highly value our partnership with families and the communities in which their students live, work and play. The students are ages 12 - 16 and the school are always looking for new students to join them.

The role is to support students full time in small group with their education. You will be fully trained and go onto a paid induction. If you have access to a vehicle you may be asked to have business insurance where you can transport students on Outdoor Learning trips such as to the beach or forest. The subjects you will help support are; English, Maths, Science, Outdoor Education.

The right candidate will have the following;

Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Full Driving Licence is beneficial not essential
Be: Adaptable, Reliable, empathetic, can build professional relationships quickly & proactive
Be available full time between 08:30-15:00
experience within the following sectors are desired; Care Work, Youth Work, Sports Coaching or any similar backgrounds.The School: Tiverton

The Hours: 08:30 - 15:00

Pay: £70-£75 per day
